A great project is born
First steps
Steady growth
Breaking new ground
We began work on Phase I of the Obetsebi Lamptey interchange (Accra, Ghana); the construction of a new terminal at Tamale Airport (Ghana); and the Cariango–Mussende (Angola) and Ketou–Savé (Benin) roads. We also obtained ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety) certifications.
Achievements despite challenges
Despite the severe crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we successfully inaugurated two new projects: the Cariango–Mussende road and Phase I of the Obetsebi Lamptey interchange. We signed new contracts and were recognised as Outstanding Infrastructure Company of the Year (Ghana).
Reaffirming our commitment
We began construction of five new projects across Africa. Thanks to our strength and transparency, we became the first European company to obtain ISO 37301 (Compliance Management System) and achieved ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
New project handovers
We delivered four new projects: the terminal at Tamale International Airport, the road corridors in Accra and Tamale, and the Ketou–Savé road. We received the Excellence in Health and Safety Award (Ghana).
Signing of new commercial contracts in Angola and Benin
We keep moving forward
We continue expanding into new markets and launching new projects, such as the Cazombo – Luau road in Angola. We also signed new commercial contracts in Angola, Benin, and Guyana — marking QGMI’s first project in Latin America.
